This relationship continues, with all Beechwood homes being NOAH certified, facilitating easier acceptance, insurance, and financing. Additionally, Beechwood is a member of the Tiny Home Industry Association (THIA), further solidifying our commitment to excellence in the tiny home industry.

Doug Smith is the visionary founder and CEO of Beechwood Tiny Homes, a veteran-owned company dedicated to redefining affordable living through the creation of high-quality, sustainable tiny homes. With a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship, Doug Smith brings over 3 of experience in construction and design to the tiny home industry, where he has established a reputation for integrity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
Under Doug Smith’s leadership, Beechwood Tiny Homes has grown from a bold idea into a trusted name in the tiny home community, offering beautifully crafted homes that empower individuals and families to lead simple, fulfilling, and debt-free lives. A proud 6-year Veteran of the SC Army National guard, Doug Smith founded Beechwood Tiny Homes in 2022 with the goal of not just building homes but building a movement. He believes in the power of small, intentional living and is committed to helping others embrace a lifestyle that prioritizes what truly matters. When not leading his team at Beechwood Tiny Homes, Doug Smith enjoys Homesteading, time on the water, spending time with family, and most importantly spending time with GOD which inspires his approach to design and life.
